On the 6th Dubai Watch Week, which occurred from November 16 to 20 this year, Hublot, in collaboration with its local distributor, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, presented two exclusive editions in partnership with the esteemed calligrapher, Wissam Shawkat, who boasts an Instagram following of over 87,000 subscribers. The black dials of these timepieces feature the Arabic words Al Zaman and Al Waqt, symbolizing time, meticulously inscribed with nuanced upstrokes and downstrokes. Infusing vitality into the composition, vivid and contrasting hues of orange, blue, green, and red animate the harmonious artwork, evoking a commanding visual presence reminiscent of the masterpieces crafted by the accomplished Iraq-born artist. This distinctive design commands attention within the 42 mm-diameter, 10.4 mm-thick ceramic case of the Classic Fusion Black Magic Dubai Watch Week.

This entirely illustrative representation also graces the refined 38 mm case of the Classic Fusion Black Magic Diamonds Dubai Watch Week timepiece, adorned with 36 black precious stones. Both items are secured elegantly with an alligator strap fastened by a folding clasp. Limited to 50 pieces each, these watches are powered by the HUB1110 caliber, composed of around 63 components. Encouraging admiration, the openworked oscillating weight is visible through the sapphire-crystal caseback, complementing the finish that aligns with the case. The self-winding movement ensures a 42-hour power reserve, providing ample autonomy for the wearer to revel in the intricate arabesques of time throughout the day.
